Human-Animal Bond in Colorado

In Memory: Ben Granger

Ben passed away on January 9, 2015. He was 83. The cause was complications from multiple myeloma. His memory continues to live on through the meaningful work of HABIC program, which trains human-animal teams and provides animal-assisted therapies to the Front Range community. Through the continued leadership of Ben’s wife, Georgia, HABIC touches the lives of more than 700 people each week through 54 separate programs in the northern Colorado community. Support the HABIC program to help them provide much-needed therapies to vulnerable populations including at-risk students, hospice patients, and incarcerated youth.
