What is Pat doing today?

Since retirement, Pat has found more time to enjoy life on her two favorite lakes, Warren Lake in Fort Collins and Lake Dillon in Summit County, spend quality time with her daughter, Kristin, and granddaughter, Tessa, and be more actively involved in community volunteer work. Pat and her husband Larry continue to travel for both work and pleasure, with yearly trips to Las Vegas, where their son Matt lives, and Palm Desert, where they work on their golf game. Pat is still an avid runner, though concentrating on 5Ks and daily runs around the lake rather than longer runs. She and Larry also enjoy ski and bicycle trips with friends and family, both domestically and abroad. On the professional front, Pat is still working on manuscripts, serves on the Colorado Food Systems Advisory Council, the CHHS Executive Leadership Council, and the Board of Editors for the Journal of Food Protection. She also hopes to someday compile her 30 years of nutrition columns into a common-sense book of nutritional advice.
